MCDD Open House on Levee Accreditation - January 21st, 2014 - 6 - 7:30pm | MCDD Conference Room

The Multnomah County Drainage District is hosting a public open house to discuss the status of the accreditation work on the Columbia River Levees in our district. As you may remember, the District met with neighbors in spring 2013 after it was informed that levee accreditation was set to expire.

Since then, district managers have learned much, made significant progress, and are moving ahead with work to improve the Levees and include the greater Portland region in the effort.

Please plan to attend to hear history and background information, a current status report and upcoming work. In addition, learn about the successful effort to make levee accreditation an Oregon Solutions project. For notes from the first Oregon Solutions meeting visit
